Our vision is to be a spirit filled community of believers who train, equip, and send disciples to share the love of Jesus Christ to our local community and the world.

We gather weekly to worship together and grow closer with God and expand His Kingdom.

Alex and Patty Lopez are the lead pastors at Bethany Evangelical Church in Garden Grove. In 2019 they became the Senior Pastors.
Pastor Patty Lopez has been part of BEC since the foundation of the Church and was ordained as Co-Pastor in 1999. She has held nearly every position in the fellowship making her a strong mentor for others. She is passionate about serving and helping others in need around our community and in Mexico.
Pastor Alex was ordained in 2018 and serves whole heartedly along with his wife. He is an expert carpenter and leverages his experience and expertise in construction to not only maintain the local church but also design and implement church upgrades abroad.
Our pastors partner with our sister churches in Mexico to train and mentor other leaders they have an apostolic calling on their life. Together they serve in our community, Ensenada, and Heroes de Independencia, Baja California Mexico.
