Praise & Worship

The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.

Philosophy & Meaningful Terms

Our Mission

Our mission through praise and worship is to come together in unity and usher the body of Christ to the throne God. Everything we need is in the manifest presence of God, we welcome the Holy Spirit to have His way.

Our Philosophy

We believe in freedom to worship by raising our hands as act of surrender. We believe in clapping our hands as an act of engagement. We believe in lifting our voice to bring glory to God. We believe in involving the whole church including our children who are welcome to dance and jump in the presence of God.

Acts of Worship

Kneeling: we kneel in reverence to the Lord

Extend Your Arm: we declare who God is

Extend Two Arms : we surrender all to God

Raise Your arm half way: receiving position

Bow: we bow to welcome the Holy Spirit

Dance: we are free in God’s presence

Sing Out Load: God inhabits our praise

Play Our Instrument: we bless the Lord

Hosting God’s Presence

To get the most out of our praise and worship experience believers start the process at home. In Leviticus 19:2 it says “Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am Holy”. When we pursue God at home it creates opportunity to experience His presence in fellowship. Consecration is not ultimately about clean living. It is about worship. We pursue holiness as an act of worship, out of a deep love and awe for God.

We consecrate ourselves before the Lord not to prove ourselves to others, we consecrate ourselves before the Lord because He is God. In this way, true consecration brings glory and honor to God.

Consecration is not a single, one-time act. Hosting God’s presence is how we live. Daily reading of God’s word and personal worship are building blocks to establishing God’s presence in fellowship. That’s why in Psalm 122:1 King David said “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of Lord.” Because we live consecrated lives, you and I can expect the Holy Spirit to show up every time we worship together.
